This company is Australia's most accredited commercial and recreational transport flooring contractor, known for delivering high-quality flooring solutions. It specialises in installing and maintaining flooring in commercial and recreational vehicles with a focus on precision and durability.
About the role:
This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands on experience in:
- Hands-On Training: Work alongside experienced technicians installing vinyl flooring in commercial and recreational vehicles.
- Skill Development: Learn to measure, cut, and lay vinyl sheets, tiles, and planks, while mastering tools like rollers and trowels.
- Site Work: Assist in preparing sub floors, applying adhesives, and maintaining organised, safe work spaces.
- Engage with Clients: Communicate professionally while helping deliver customised flooring solutions with a wide range of textures and colours.
- Team Environment: Follow instructions from lead installers and contribute to smooth, efficient work flow on job sites.
What we're looking for:
- We welcome applicants at any stage of their apprenticeship journey - from 1st to 4th year.
- A positive attitude, eagerness to gain hands-on skills, and a commitment to completing your apprenticeship.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a close-knit team.
- Current driver's license and access to reliable transport is preferred but not essential for travel to various job sites.
