Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Painting Apprentice to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about painting and looking to start a rewarding career in the trade. The role can be either school-based or full-time, depending on your availability and preference.
Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced painters with preparation and application of paint on various surfaces.
- Learn and practice proper painting techniques and safety procedures.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming.
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
- Follow instructions and work as part of a team to complete projects on time.
Requirements:
- Interest in painting and a desire to learn the trade.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work on ladders and scaffolding.
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.
