Job Description:ÌýAs a 2nd or 3rd year carpentry apprentice, you will:
- Assist in the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Work on a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and renovation work.
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a recognised carpentry apprenticeship
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Completed 1st year of apprenticeship (for 2nd year applicants) or 2nd year of apprenticeship (for 3rd year applicants).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
